For nearly five centuries, monks of the oldest Catholic monastery in the Holy Land have glorified Mary, the Mother of the Lord, with Latin hymns. From the Church of the Visitation, built by the Franciscans in Ein Karem, near Jerusalem, on the site where the Virgin Mary visited Elizabeth, comes this live and moving recording of the music of the Feast of the Visitation, celebrated annually on the 31st of May.
